Single parents may have received a court order to receive child support, but it isn’t always paid and they end up needing help from the district attorney’s family support department or collections agencies who can help them collect the arrearages. Parents who fall behind may want to seek the advice of an attorney and modify their payments so they can avoid legal problems.

The City of Eugene Human Rights Commission Accessibility Committee is hosting a Veteran’s Day community conversation about veterans services and support in Eugene. Local veterans service and support providers will be sharing information about their work with veterans and their families. These service providers will share how they help returning veterans reintegrate into civilian life, provide family support and discuss ways to help them reconnect to a welcoming community. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
